Many of you are deperately looking forward to the upcoming single which was announced to be Heifisch from the most recent album Liebe ist für alle da. According to beatblogger.de the date shall be April 9th, 2010. However it is essential to read following info from another source (Gauntlet.com):
The single / video has no official date. But they are actually meeting with label peeps this week to hammer it all out. So all rumors you have heard on a date being confirmed are just speculation although April is the month from what I have been told. No asking anymore questions as I know whats next and I can’t say, it is for the band to announce. The new single isn’t indexed so the official site will be able to promote and post news when they are ready.

And the second “news” is that our favorite director Jonas Akerlund shot a video for Lady Gaga, but this time it is not such a great porn movie like he did for Rammstein.
“Jonas Akerlund (sic) directed the Gaga promo. He has form. At the saucy end of the scale, his videos for German metallers Rammstein make Telephone look like an episode of Andy Pandy.”

German industrial metal band Rammstein have been forced to apologise to their fans after a “low key” performance left many feeling short changed. The band are claiming that since the recession they have had to “downscale” their theatrical ambitions, and are hoping that the “music will do the talking” for them.
Rammstein fan Alice Kreuzfeld-Smith said “When Till Lindemann shimmied down a rope holding a sparkler – that actually went out halfway down the rope – I thought to myself… ‘maybe they’ve made some cut-backs’, but I wasn’t prepared for what followed. Recession or no recession, I’ve got expectations for a Rammstein concert, and they don’t include a catherine wheel that fails to go off.”

Rammstein, a German industrial metal band, will perform at Zagreb’s Arena sports hall on Thursday.
The band plans to come to Zagreb a day earlier to see the city.
Website Dnevnik.hr has reported that Rammstein has asked for a Mercedes and yoga and salsa instructors as they prepare for their concert.
The organizers admitted they did not know why the band wished to have salsa instructor but said fans would learn the reason at the concert.

This is a Statement by the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Giro to the media reports about the planned Rammstein Appearance in Minsk:
The concert will be held in Minsk Rammstein – as originally planned – on March 7, 2010.
With a great surprise I had to read the German media reports claiming that the Rammstein Appearance in Minsk can be cancelled. It was only an opinion of a person from the advisory Board – Commission for morality.
In a democratic society, including the Republic of Belarus is, it is common to discuss issues and problems publicly. The Belarusian writer Nikolai Tscherginez has expressed his own opinion and personal expression, not necessarily supported by all Rammstein fans. It is in this context, very unfortunate that instead of a debate about the phenomenon of Rammstein most of the media in Germany took this issue as an opportunity to present Belarus in a negative way.
All the speculation about the alleged prohibition of the performance are hereby expressly rejected. Thousands of spectators from all over Belarus are looking forward to the Rammstein concert on March 7.
From the side of the embassy, I can add that all the artists and the technical team have successfully applied and received their visas. According to the organizers, the Minsk-Arena, is almost sold out.

The German “Brachialrock” band Rammstein would destroy “the Belarusian state policy,” ruled the moral guardian of the ex-Soviet republic.
Supported by President Alexander Lukashenko, Social Council for morality declared the band abruptly a public enemy. This is in regard to a March 7th concert planned to take place in Minsk. The Rammstein songs were propaganda for “violence, masochism, homosexuality and other perverse,” directed against Belarusian values.
“A permit for a Rammstein concert is a mistake that could cost us a lot,” was said.

This info is relevant for those of you willing to buy some stuff related to Rammstein:
Unfortunately the band will not be able to sell Rammstein Merchandising Articles inside the venues in Stockholm and Helsinki. The Rammstein truck, however, will be just outside the arenas with a huge number of merchandising goods. So keep an eye out! (or go to our shop and buy it online from Amazon)
