Update (07.09.2009): On October 16th 2009, RAMMSTEIN will release their sixth studio named Liebe isr für alle da. This has been confirmed on the official page. The cover for the album has been released today.
Update (04.09.2009): The first single will be “Pussy” and will be released on 18SEP09. The album should be released in middle October.
Update (22.7.2009): According to wikipedia, the name of the new album shall be Freud und Leid. Few days after the released name, wikipedia changed the listing back to “Untitled sixth studio album (2009)”
Update (14.7.2009): Pictures from the new single appeared on internet. The lyric of the new single Liebe ist für alle da is known since today.

Update Summer 2008 Basic Information about the album: The pre-production on the new album was done at the end of October 2008 in Berlin.
Drummer Christoph Schneider went shortly thereafter to Los Angeles in the Henson Recording Studios, where together with Jacob Hellner, Ulf Kruckenberg and Florian Ammon started to record drum tracks.
Since 9 November 2008, the entire band is in a studio in San Francisco, where they are staying for several weeks to work on the new album.
Sometime in November a photographer Olaf Heine will go to San Francisco to join the band to make the documentation.
Update April 2008 Already in April 2008 expressed guitarist Paul Landers following about the new album: “We wanted the album fairly hard, but then that sounded like any other metal band. So it does not sound bad, but we want to have a little “stand out.” Video available here.
Update (11.1.2007): Bushido reported recording a song with Rammstein, called “Vergiss uns nicht” (“Don’t forget us”). In this interview, Bushido also mentioned that he was unsure whether it would be on their “Best of” album or not. more…

Himmel means heaven, and Jagd means Hunt. Not Haunted but as in an Animal Hunt.
Hölle means Hell so through the album it starts early with heaven and moves down to hell (uhh how evil!)

Spieglein – (Mirror) (-lein is a form used to simplify, or make things smaller (so little mirror would be a translation)
Himmel – Heaven
Vergib mir – Forgive me
Jagd – Hunt
Theater – Theater
Vollmond – Fullmoon
Bei Fuß – ‘Bei fuss’ is a command used for dogs to get them ‘too your foot’ a command to get back and obey so to say.

2) The Amazon.de page literally says “New Album 2008″. An official pre-order page would not look like that, it would have the actual title of the album; obviously, someone just wanted to be a jerk and made that listing on Amazon.de to mess with people.
3) I have to stress this point again: they don’t state their source for the information. This means it either got to them by word of mouth, or they made it up on the spot.If we were really this close to their next album’s release, we would absolutely, positively have heard about it from a source other than a Rammstein Europe rumor (their official website, their newsletter, major media outlets like MTV Germany, etc.). It’s merely an attempt to have something over other fan sites, and soon enough it will be shown to be nothing but misinformation.

But , at the end , is was RosenrotSo , Himmel , is maybe just a song , they gonna see wich name they gonna put to their BEST album . Is gonna change !

After finishing the first part of their studio-recordings successfully, Rammstein have started to put the final touches to their new songs. For example, they’re thinking about the usage of strings and choirs. Therefore the band sat down with the orchestra arranger Sven Helbig last week.
Aside from the last musical changes the final lyrical changes are being made, too.
We’re highly awaiting the next steps of the album production: the mixing of the songs. It is supposed to start mid of march and will take about six up to eight weeks.We’ll keep you posted…
