The oficial site has announced DJ Joe Letz as Rammstein’s support act for the upcoming European tour. He shall warm up the crowd with his DJ set.

The oficial site as just confirmed 14 more dates to be held across Europe. Unlike the previous announcement, most of these dates are normal concerts rather than festival performances.

What about the rest of Europe?
After a very successful tour of Europe together and two sold out North American shows (one at NYC’s Madison Square Garden, the other at Montreal’s Bell Centre) in 2010, Metropolis recording artists COMBICHRIST will be joining RAMMSTEIN as direct support on their full North American tour in May.

According to Poll Star, it’s an organization that collects information on concerts around the world. The first three artists in the ranking are Bon Jovi, AC / DC and U2.
Rankings are based on revenues (excluding festivals) or $ 43,300,000 in 2010 for LIFAD Tour. Rammstein had an average of 14 492 spectators at each concert and the average revenue of $ 1,170,270.
Rammstein only has made nine events outside Europe in 2010. Despite this, the LIFAD Tour managed to climb to 24th place in the world. So it is a great success.

Combichrist have now been confirmed to support Rammstein on their only U.S.-show, Dec, 11th in NYC’s Madison Square Garden.
Both bands have previously successfully played a big number of shows in Europe together.

Rock Werchter is a Belgian annual music festival held in the village of Werchter, near Brussels, since 1974. It is one of the four biggest annual rock music festivals in Europe (the other three being the Sziget Festival, the Glastonbury Festival and Roskilde Festival). The 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2007 festivals received the Arthur award for best festival in the world at International Live Music Conference (ILMC). It can host 80.000 guests, of which 69.000 combine all four days, to add up to a total of 113.000 different attendees.

There are two more videos already in the works. ‘Ich Tuh Dir Weh’ was shot last week by the band, and it’s a straight performance video that we shot on our new stage. The other video will be for ‘Haifisch,’ and it’s going to be a classic Rammstein video with a story behind it, but I’d rather not give any more details and let you be surprised by it. The band will also be touring Europe soon, and in fall of 2010, we hope to be in North America.

According to Laut.de, RAMMSTEIN’s management has threatened legal action against any web sites that post links to the copyright-infringing material. As a result, Europe’s largest RAMMSTEIN fan site Rammstein-Austria.com is currently directing all of its traffic to its forum. Other RAMMSTEIN fan sites have also reportedly been told to refrain from posting links to the song, which is expected to appear on the band’s new studio album.
In 2004, RAMMSTEIN’s management reportedly sent a cease-and-desist letter to the Berlin-based RAMMSTEIN fan site RammsteinFan.de demanding the removal of several copyrighted images and ringtones.
RAMMSTEIN recorded the initial tracks for the band’s new album in Los Angeles with Jacob Hellner and the production team of Ulf Kruckenberg and Florian Ammon. A studio was rented near San Francisco for the bulk of the main recording work.
