Death Mask Procession in London

The website metalhammer.co.uk as announced that Rammstein is staging a ‘Death Mask Procession’ at London’s O2 Arena, on next Friday (February 24th).

There will be offered 100 death masks to the first 100 participants that arrive at the event, as well as candles and facepaint.

Alongside the procession, there will also be a contest for the participants who have a ticket for the O2 Arena concert. The winners will be given a copy of the album Made in Germany 1995-2011 and a pair of tickets to attend a Meet & Greet with the band. The holders of the five best banners brought to the procession will be elected the winners of the contest.

This procession is scheduled to take place before the concert, at 5:30 pm. More details here.

Rammstein Talk To Metal Hammer About Pussy Video

Richar Kruspe talked to Metal Hammer about the new single – Pussy:

“After doing the video, which was obviously quite interesting, we thought ‘you can’t play the video on video stations or MTV’,” Kruspe continues. “We just found another way to make it accessible to other people. At the moment, we’ve had 6.5 million people watching the video in one week. What I’m saying is that there’s always different ways.”

Rammstein guitarist said in an interview with the British METAL HAMMER, that the porn Scenes in pussy video are actually real. However, he answered the question whether the ‘Cocks’ are their own with “No Comment”.

Fialik: The musically best record …

In the current “METAL HAMMER” you’ll find an interview with Rammstein-manager Emanuel Fialik.

The article tells you about the way ticket are sold and of course about the new album which should be released in autumn.

For Fialik the disk is the biggest surprise since the birth of his son. Fialik quote: “Musically, it has the force of MOTHER while the beauty of the melodies of SEHNSUCHT – Just so it has fixed in my ears. ”

We can expect two soft ballads and the rest will be hard as a rock.

Fialik conclusively: “It is musically the best Album, which until now has Rammstein recorded! ”

New Rammstein album

In the current issue of Metal Hammer magazine is a brief report on the current state of things in Rammstein’s production.

Richard said in an interview that the new material will be again harder than the recent works “Rosenrot” and “Reise Reise.” Stylistically it will be more like the debut album “Herzeleid.” “The fun of hard, fast numbers is returned,” said Richard.

One reason for this change should be trimmed equipment, which the band is currently using in a mansion near the Baltic. There are only small combo amplifier and E-Drums. “This is to encourage us, the right strings to take effect. You play harder now, if you can not rely on large investments, “said Richard.

Currently, the band is still on composing, the material will be recorded in winter. Further details about the album release are not available.
