Till Lindemann Against German Pirate Party

Till Lindemann was part of a group of 100 German artists who signed an open letter addressed to the German Pirate Party.

This letter expresses harsh criticism towards the party’s demand on reforms to the copyright law:

“We Are the Creators. [...] The new realities of digitization and the internet are no reason to justify ordinary theft of intellectual property”

EUR 45,000 damages for unauthorized use of line “featuring Rammstein”

“Apocalyptica” has to pay 45,000 Euros in damages for trademark infringement and naming rights before the Regional Court of Berlin to the group “Rammstein “.

For their album “Worlds Collide” from the year 2007, the Finnish cellist group Apocalyptica recorded with various guest musicians, including Till Lindemann, singer of the band “Rammstein “.

The album was then advertised by the line “featuring Rammstein”. This happened nationwide with ads in magazines, city light posters and stickers on recordings. Consent of the band “Rammstein” was not present.

This was settled by a proposal by the court, the parties agreed to the payment of 45,000 € as a reasonable royalty. The file number of the procedure is as follows: 16 O 570/08.

Flake taken to hospital

Please note that Rammstein keyboardist, Flake, was not at tonight’s show in Copenhagen, Denmark. At the start of the show, frontman Till Lindemann made the announcement “Ladies and Gentlemen, Due to a severe infection, our keyboard player Flake Lorenz was taken yesterday to the hospital. We did not want to cancel this concert and have brought in a substitute; a warm round of applause for Alf Atorthat (Knorkator keyboardist).”

It is unclear at this time how many more shows Flake might miss due to his illness, but he is reportedly already out and doing better. People in attendance have confirmed that the band didn’t walk Alf like a dog or make him use the treadmill.

Rammstein Pussy cover revealed

If you have received the newsletter from Rammstein.de few days ago, you actually already saw the new cover letter. As we already have informed, it depicts naked band members with female bodies. Till Lindemann is pregnant. The cover has now appeared on Amazon.de and is probably the final and definitive cover for this single. I hope you like it. Our Pussy info page has been updated accordingly.

Rammstein Pussy – the new single

Most of you already know, but to make it stated here: the new single from Rammstein will be called “Pussy” and will be released very soon: 18 SEP 2009.

And now the most surprising thing around the single: The Gauntlet has posted a video preview and it looks like real porn movie. My suggestion: this will never be broad casted on MTV during day or the video is not the real footage, but just something randomly chosen and we have to wait till 18th. Lets stay tunned.

The single is appearing as a 2-track Digipack with the song “Rammlied” as B-side.

And look forward to a new video from Jonas Åkerlund, celebrating its premiere in the not so distant future! The new album appears in October, but more about that soon.

3 members of Rammstein showed up recently

After a longer time without seeing anyone from the grou Rammstein, now we have some fresh pictures of Christopher Shcneider and Richard Kruspe. They appeared at MTV Designerama. The evening took place on 08/10/08 in Berlin. The singer Till Lindemann showed up at the European Music & Media Night the day before yesterday in Berlin. In other words, these photos are recent.

Rammstein Europe hacked

Yesterday many fans wrote me that I was spreading some bullshit information about Richard Kruspe leaving Rammstein. Some people issued threads to my life. I was wandering what was happening and as I was not in my country (I am now in USA) , and I had restricted access to internet I was really scared when I saw what some unknown hacker did to my site.

Richard Kruspe is really NOT leaving Rammstein. One of the smart fans (Jebaa, Pjork) wrote these reasons:

1. There is not source.
2. www.rammstein.com ““there isn”˜t anything.
3. Nowhere read that article.
4. Who is “Farin Urlaub”?
5. http://www.thegauntlet.com/interviews/307/Rammstein.html
http://vampirefreaks.com/content/comment.php?entry=164&t=Rammstein
6. That article is fucking ridiculous.
+7. Till’s last name wasn’t spelled correctly (Lidemann instead of Lindemann) this mistake was fixed few hours later according to logs.

The other thing that this hacker did to my site is that he somehow managed to block the finish section in Google. Now if you want to access this language section with Firefox browser, it will not display the page but just a warning message.

I regret what happened on this site and hope that nobody had heart attack after reading such nonsense. Maybe this violator could be the same person who informed us last year about Till Lindemann departure (it was also a HOAX).

My next steps will be to upgrade this site to avoid any violations in future. I also must fix the finish section in order to provide all fans from Finland with fresh information (thank you Sinnlos for informing me about this problem). And the last thing I want to do is to take legal steps against all people who threatened to kill me (in case they don’t explain their behavior) because of the fake information on this website.

Rammstein members are now working on the new album (NO Farin Urlaub). The new album can already be preordered on German Amazon: Neues Album 2008

Thank you for understanding the situation and I hope you will keep visiting this webpage (we managed to reach 1 000 000 visitors in two years history this week). I will do my best to administrate this portal in the way you appreciate it the most.

Richard Kruspe leaving Rammstein

This news may be shocking for many fans of Rammstein. The new era of Rammstein is coming:

After a long time of hesitating Richard Kruspe made the final decision: he doesn’t want to cooperate on the new album anymore. After he changed his style with the new Emigrate album he can not find his way back to Rammstein and want to continue his solo career.

Rammstein is currently recording the new album and they found a new guitarist for this. His name is Farin Urlaub and he is a famous singer and guitarist in Germany (used to play in a group called Die Ã„rzte – The Doctors).

Farin Urlaub and Till Lindemann will start the cooperation in late September as Farin will also provide the group with backing vocals. We can expect slight changes in the new style of Rammstein.
